This department takes care of potholes, utility cuts, street repairs and paving, mosquito spraying, washouts, curb and gutter sweeping, and removal of dead trees within the city right of way. We rely greatly on our citizen's reports of problems for repairs and welcome all reports through our Public Services Office. Sanitation Department

The City Sanitation Department is made up of nine employees and is under the direction of Vincent Inlow. This department is responsible for the removal of garbage and yard debris. Yard debris removal is for residential customers only and should consist of only leaves, limbs and yard clippings. A call to our Public Services office is always a big help to get a yard debris removal scheduled. Garbage removal is both residential and commercial and covers everything from rapid rail containers to dumpsters and roll-off containers. The Transfer Station located at 1005 Avenue C, Bainbridge, GA 39819 is managed by Smith Co Recycling. For more information on how to rent a roll-off container for junk removal or any other service please contact them at (229) 220-1582.
