Vision: To create a desirable, vibrant and thriving shopping atmosphere by encouraging community awareness on the importance of downtown as the most vital economic force in the city.

Mission: The mission of the Downtown Development Authority is to enhance our community identity and heritage, to foster a center of activity and to ensure economic stability for the heart of Bainbridge. This mission is achieved by utilizing the Main Street 4-point approach: Design, Promotion, Economic Restructuring and Organization.

Downtown Bainbridge is proud of its history and heritage and has built a reputation on making southern hospitality a way of life.  In the heart of Downtown Bainbridge is Willis Park, a charming garden style park complete with a Victorian gazebo and fountain where the community gathers for entertainment and relaxation throughout the year.
Visit our antique stores, eateries, gift shops, specialty shops and you will be sold on Bainbridge.  Downtown Bainbridge is also home to the Firehouse Gallery, History Museum, helpful government agencies, professional services, the post office, the local newspaper and several banks.
Explore Downtown Bainbridge from the square and beyond!
