Animal Control has jurisdiction in both the City and the County and works in conjunction with the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society.  Animal Control Officers enforce state laws and county ordinances which include failure to vaccinate, animals at large, animal cruelty, barking dogs, and dangerous dog classifications.
