Welcome to the City of Bainbridge Animal Services Department, where we oversee the day-to-day operations of the city's animal shelter and manage our dedicated animal control officers. Our mission is to provide compassionate care and protection for the animals in our community while promoting responsible pet ownership. Our shelter is operated in partnership with the Humane Society.

At Bainbridge Animal Services, we offer a variety of services aimed at ensuring the well-being of our furry residents. Our animal shelter serves as a safe haven for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, providing them with shelter, nourishment, and medical attention. We work tirelessly to find loving forever homes for these animals through adoption programs and community outreach efforts.

In addition to our shelter operations, our team of animal control officers plays a vital role in maintaining public safety and animal welfare. They respond to calls related to animal cruelty, loose or aggressive animals, and other concerns within our city limits. Our officers are trained professionals dedicated to enforcing animal-related laws and ordinances while also educating the public about responsible pet ownership.

Whether you're looking to adopt a new pet, need assistance with animal-related issues, or simply want to learn more about our services, Bainbridge Animal Services is here to help. We believe that every animal deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and we are committed to being a compassionate resource for both animals and residents alike.
